Microlight Exams
As the weather here in NZ this time of year (early spring) is so fickle I decided to finally sit my exams in the following: –
- Law
- Navigation
- Meteorology
- Technical
- Human Factors
- Flight Radio Telephone
These exams are “multi-choice” and not too difficult if you study well.
I was quite nervous as I hate doing exams but was also confident that I could pass. Well the results were better than I could have imagined: – All exams passed with 4 of 6 in the 90%+ and the other 2 in the high 80%.
I was super happy with these results. One more thing to tick off the list of requirements for me to go to the next training level (Intermediate). I almost have the required hours now (minimum of 25hrs) and then its a flight test with the CFI. If I achieve that then I will be able to fly on my own within 10nm of the Aerodrome. That will be a great day indeed!
Until next time….
