Blog – Steep Turns Revision 11/09/2021

Revision Steep Turns

After a month off due to a Covid-19 Delta outbreak, NZ (except for Auckland which is still at at level 4) is back to level 2 so flying can resume.

An absolute ripper of a spring day after some nasty days with severe gales and thunderstorms.

Spent this session over Otaki area getting back my muscle memory.

Did both medium and steep turns. Mediums are fine but steep turns I need a bit more throttle and a more nose down.

Returned to NZPP and landed perfectly on grass RWY16GRASS@NZPP.

A bit rusty in places but still satisfied considering the break. What an awesome day!
