Hi All,
Revision – Steep Turns
After a frosty and foggy morning the weather gods decided to put on a beautiful Spring day with an almost calm wind.
My FI wanted to recheck me on steep turns so we headed out to the Otaki training area and I commenced with left and right standard turns followed by steep turns. After the first initial wobbly one I got my eye in and had the turns running smooth in both directions.
I had read to set the nose on the first rung of the pitch indicator an when I did this at 2300rpm it just stuck at the altitude. I was stoked that this manoeuvre was now sorted.
A great short session so I could then go up solo and repeat the process.
